Versus

From pangya.wiki

Play with one to three other players in Versus mode and compete for the best score! Take turns with other players to complete a course. You don't have to complete a whole course, choose 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes. The room's Master (leader of the room) selects the course and settings for the game. Once all players are ready, the Master can begin the game.

Stroke play

Compete with up to three other players for the lowest stroke count. The player with the lowest total stroke at the end of the game wins the game. In the case of a tie, the player with the higher amount of Pang wins.

Players take turns hitting their Comets and landing it into the cup. At the end of the game, each player is awarded a Clear Bonus based on the course, the number of holes and number of players remaining at the end of the game. Experience Points earned depend on the number of players in the room and how many leave the room before the end of the game. If a player disconnects during the match, the other players can continue playing. If only one player is left, that player can stop and take the Experience Points and Pang he or she has earned and leave without penalty, or keep playing for more Pang; no additional Experience Points is earned for later holes in this case.

Match play

This mode is only playable with 2 or 4 players only (game cannot begin with 3 players). Tag up with a teammate (4 player room) or play one-on-one (2 player room) and compete with the opposing team to win the most holes.

Players form two teams: Red Team and Blue Team. While in the game room, players can freely switch between teams. In Match Play, teams take turns hitting the Comet and landing the Comet into the cup before the other team does. In 4 players Match Play, players on a team alternate taking a shot, sharing all Active Play features.

For each hole, the team that gets the better score on each hole wins the hole and gets a point added to the score. A draw or lose does not add to the score. At the end of the game, both teams will receive a Clear Bonus. The team with the higher score (the most holes won) at the end of a game wins. In the event of a tie, the team with the most Pang wins. A match can end early if a team wins more holes than there are left - this is called a Dormie and awards the winning team a Dormie Bonus. Experience Points and Pang earned are awarded at the end of the game.

Note: If a player disconnects before the match is over, the team with the player that disconnected forfeits the match and immediately loses, ending the game.
