Over Par

Over Par is a general term for all scores that are beyond the Par limit. Bogey, Double Bogey, Triple Bogey, +4, +5, and Give Up are all Over Par scores.

The Over Par bonus is received whenever one of the Over Par scores is received.

When the player is on a stroke that will lead to an Over Par score, the beam of light above the cup turns black (blue in Short Game mode). During Over Par strokes, certain hole features become inaccessible - for example, Spinning Cubes on the hole will disappear. Many Pang Bonuses also become disabled, meaning even if the original condition is met, no Pang will be earned still.
