Over Drive

From pangya.wiki

Over Drive refers to the situation when the traveled distance of the comet is longer than the drive of the currently selected club. Only in tee shots, that extra pang (called Over Drive Bonus) will be awarded to the player for performing a shoot with over drive.

Here is an example:

Let's say the drive of your 1W club is 232yds. If you hit 233yds with this club, you get 1 extra pang. You'll get 2 extra pangs for hitting 234yds, and so forth. The same applies for Power Shots. If your drive is 242yds when you activate your power, you would need to AT LEAST hit it 243yds for the OD (Over Drive) Bonus. To get the OD Bonus, you have to factor in wind, slope, and power.

OD Bonuses will be doubled in case of hitting a Super PangYa.

Note that OD Bonus will not be awarded in case the tee shot ends up in an OB.

OD Bonuses are an important factor to pang farming, especially for players that can rarely chip. This accounts for the popularity of certain courses, in particular, courses with portals (Shining Sand and Lost Seaway), steep slopes and/or slippery surfaces (mainly the "ice" courses such as White Wiz, Ice Cannon and Ice Spa).
