Lounge

From pangya.wiki

Lounge is a game mode that lets players freely interact with each other at any hole of any course of Pangya Island. In a lounge, players can move around the course with their selected character and chat with other players.

In addition, lounges allow players to create player shops, allowing players to sell their own items to other players who visit (note to use this feature, the shop must be opened on the Dolfini server).

By wearing the Passionate Training Suit and Blazing Track Pants / Blazing Track Shorts / Refreshing Track Shorts together for a character, the default idle animation is changed.

Player shops

A player shop look.

Player shop is a feature in the lounge that lets players sell owned items to other players by setting up a shop of their own. This feature is only available at the Dolfini server; it is not possible to create a player shop on any other server.

In a lounge room, the maximum of player shops that are allowed open is 2/3 the room capacity (6 shops for a 10-player room, 13 shops for a 20-player room, 20 shops for a 30-player room).

Setting up a shop

Setting up a shop can be done by clicking on the right mouse button on the character and then selecting "Make a shop". The customization menu will pop up.

When setting a shop, the shop name must be set and confirmed. Afterwards, select any items listed in the menu and set a price for each of them, as well as the quantity of the item. Each shop is allowed to put up a maximum of 6 individual items; each item can only be priced at a maximum of 10,000,000 Pang. An item that does not appear on the list is not sellable.

When all items that wanted to be placed in the shop are set, confirm the selection.

Note that while your own shop is set up, it is not possible to view other players' shops. You will also not be able to leave the lounge room until the shop is closed.

Opened shops

When a shop is opened, a bubble with the shop name will be floating above the player's character. Clicking on it will allow you to view their shop.

Clicking on your bubble will let you maintain your own shop, as well as keep track of the number of visitors who have viewed your shop.

Each time an item is sold from your shop, blue text will appear in the chat box stating the item and quantity sold. When selling items in player shops, a 5% sales tax is applied for all items that are sold. You can also see the amount of Pang you received from sales at the bottom left of the screen.

Once all items are sold from your shop, the window will pop up (if it is not on the screen already) and inform you that all items have been sold.

Additional notes

  • Certain clothing with unique effects may not behave correctly while in a lounge. For example, the Firefly Headlight will not glow while in a lounge.
  • A lounge room can be set to Natural Mode by enabling the option first during room creation in one of the other game modes then creating the lounge itself. However, this does nothing.
  • After creating a lounge room, it is not possible to change its room name.
  • If a lounge room is set with a password, it cannot be changed or removed internally.
